Less Fat - Infuse your roast chicken with moisture and flavour from the inside.
While all the skin is roasting to a crispy brown you can infuse the bird with your favourite herbs,spices and flavourings whether they be your beer , mulled wine, lemon juice, crushed garlic etc by adding these into your roaster with a little water or olive oil.
There’s no mess, all the unwanted fat drains away into your baking tray (You would not believe how much fat comes out of a chicken!!)

Steams On The Inside - Roasts On The Outside

And there is no basting required, just put the chicken in the oven and leave it. During the time that the chicken is roasting, the fat is dripping into the baking tray and away from the chicken. The chicken, being raised above the surface of the fat, is as fat free as it can be. You can feel the “crispness” of the skin when lifting the chicken off when cooked that there is far less fat. A chicken roaster that will roast perfect chickens for you every time. I have found cooking times can be reduced by around 10-15 minutes as using a Dorset Vertical Chicken Roaster speeds up your cooking.

WASH BIRD AS NORMAL

IF PREFERRED PLACE FLAVOURINGS OF CHOICE INSIDE CHICKEN ROASTER WITH A LITTLE WATER OR OLIVE OIL.

PLACE CHICKEN ROASTER UPRIGHT IN A BAKING TRAY

PLACE BIRD ON TOP OF CHICKEN ROASTER MAKING SURE ENOUGH OF THE ROASTER IS INSIDE THE BIRD IN ORDER TO ACHIEVE BALANCE. TUCK WINGS BEHIND NECK.

COOK AS NORMAL CUTTING DOWN COOKING TIME BY 10 - 15 MINUTES.

ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE BIRD IS COOKED THOROUGHLY.
